See, another perfect example of what I meant when I said “Oregon: where couples go when they want you to be really jealous of their elopement“!
With a team of talented vendors, photographer Kel Ward turned a stunning beach in Manzanita, Oregon into a breathtaking setup for a stylish, yet simple, ceremony for two.
From Kel Ward:
This inspiration shoot took place on the beach in Manzanita, Oregon in June of 2016. Jesse and Vinessa, a real couple, were more than happy to get their toes wet for an evening of love and adventure. The ceremony was held shortly before sunset, in a quaint little spot, complete with a driftwood aisle and a handmade arbor. After sealing their I do’s with a kiss, the couple toasted each other and enjoyed some macarons (made by Erin Baxter). Vinessa’s dress was a beautifully flowing white cotton number with a subtle design. Her gorgeous bouquet, by Amanda Dante of Morning Glories Floral, complimented the subtle blue theme perfectly. The silk ribbon by [Susanna Luck Flowers] was the perfect touch for the breezy Oregon coast. Jesse donned some navy twill pants, navy tie, and a tan linen blazer for the ceremony, but got more comfortable for their portraits. The table, styled by myself, featured decor from For the Love of Pete Rentals, vintage cameras from my personal collection, and some succulents from my own yard. The adorable, hand painted “we eloped” sign was designed by Jenn of Brush and Willow, a local watercolor artist who specializes in wedding invitations and the like. We ended the evening with a sunset stroll along the water and it was truly breathtaking.
