Toes in the sand and love in your heart; sometime, that is all you really need. For Helen and Brent it was more than enough. They celebrated their love on a crescent-shaped beach where they where they could be the center of everything.
From Naomi Levit Photography:
Helen and Brent wanted to get married in Hawaii but didn’t feel right exchanging their vows at a resort and longed for a more authentic experience. They said their I do’s at Hamoa Beach, a crescent-shaped beach cradled by cliffs and tropical vegetation in Hana, Maui that has been rated among the world’s top beaches.
Isolated from the rest of the island, the town of Hana is known as an undeveloped piece of paradise, reminiscent of old Hawaii. In order to get there, you have to drive the infamous Hana Highway over 620 curves, 59 bridges, past flowing waterfalls, lush forests, and dramatic seascapes. Many people are prone to carsickness that there are even shirts that say, “I survived the Road to Hana.”
The journey takes a while to get there, but the magic you feel is certainly worth it in the end. Once there, you have little to no cell phone service, so it’s the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and focus on a lifelong commitment to your beloved.
What We Love: The Smiling Faces
Helen and Brent are all smiles the entire time and that is awesome!
