These two call Canada their home but they decided to make New York City their wedding destination. Together with friends they rented an Airbnb apartment in Harlem and that is where I met them on their wedding day.
Everyone was in a good mood. And how could you not? The weather was gorgeous and Central Park was waiting for Breanne and Dhiren’s wedding. We met the officiant Jackie at the Ladies Pavilion where she officiated their beautiful ceremony.
After the ‘I dos’ we made our way through Central Park. We stopped at the Bethesda Fountain and Terrace, walked down ‘The Mall and Literary Walk’ and ended at the Gapstow Bridge. From there we went to Grand Central for some wedding photos with the New York crowd.
It was such a wonderful day and I am so happy they chose me to capture this day for them.
What We Love:
Breanne’s “something blue” is the perfect pop of color! Her LWD (Little White Dress) is also super cute too! Perfect for a Spring elopement in Central Park. Dhiren fits him perfectly! And you gotta love the his bowtie and handkerchief matches Breanne’s shoes.
Using services like Airbnb is an excellent way to book unique and chic places for your destination elopement! Also, don’t be afraid to spend a few extra days in your home away from home. This is a great opportunity to get in a bit of a honeymoon!
