I know Christmas is far behind us but it’s never to early for a little holiday elopement inspiration. I mean, there’s only 305 shopping days until Christmas, so why not start now!
Using the magic of the holiday season as their back drop, Meg and Bryn made their way to the Big Apple to toe the knot in a sweet ceremony at city hall.
From Pennace Photography:
As soon as Meg and Bryn got engaged they knew they didn’t want to deal with stress of wedding planning. They decided they wanted to elope, but in style!
The two are passionate about traveling, so they knew they wanted to have a destination wedding. They decided to travel from their hometown of Mayfield, Australia to New York City and elope on Christmas Eve.
The Australian couple chose Christmas Eve because it marked their 9 1/2 year anniversary! They exchanged I do’s at the City Clerk’s Office in Manhattan and were escorted by just a photographer and a videographer. After the couple’s short yet simple ceremony they traveled all over the city taking photos and video footage.
Meg wearing a beautiful white laced wedding dress partnered with brown boots (great for winter weather) and Bryn with a blue suit had the wedding of their dreams. They wanted to have an intimate wedding, just the two of them, and now have the perfect Christmas Eve story to share.
What We Love: Tis’ The Season To Feel The Love!
These two Love-Muffins look so happy and in love. Add that to all of the Christmas decor and you have an elopement fit for its own Christmas Special!
